What's inside the free Christmas printable
All six pictures are in the PDF, one per page, with plenty of white space around them for relaxed coloring.
How to print the coloring pages
The file is already set up for US letter paper. In the print window, choose "Fit to page" and print in black and white or color. If your child likes markers, a slightly thicker paper such as cardstock keeps the color from bleeding through.
Coloring tips for toddlers and preschoolers
- For ages 2 to 3, chunky crayons are the easiest to hold and control.
- From age 4, washable markers and colored pencils are a fun next step.
- Coloring outside the lines is perfectly fine. At this age, the movement matters more than a neat result.
- Ask your child to tell you about the picture: where is the reindeer going? What's inside the teddy bear's gift?
Easy Christmas crafts with the finished pages
Once colored, the pages make sweet handmade gifts. Fold one in half for a Christmas card for grandma and grandpa, cut out the pictures and hang them on the tree as ornaments, or use them as place cards for Christmas dinner. Little ones love seeing their work on display.
